sks stripper clips

Some are cutting 3/8 of the stripper off and re using them with 5 rnds on it when they go to the range. Easier to reload 5 at a time vs squeezing 5 off a 10 rnd stripper.

I have heard of people selling them to people in the U.S, apparently you can get pretty decent money for what most people would look at as a piece of scrap.

I'm saving mine for if i ever decide to reload for the sks (doubtful with surplus so cheap as it is). I wouldn't bother trying to cut them ro anything. If you put the full 10 round stripper in, and simply push down on the cartridges as you're supposed to normally, only 5 will come off if the magazine is pinned properly.

I wish. Mine does 5 1/2, just enough so the 6th round comes off the clip but wont fit into the mag. :(

maybe that was before but now , i wouldnt call it decent cos at gunbroker.com , 20 clips sells for $5 and 40 clips sells for $9 .

Saved them till I had a 5 gallon pail full. At the BLAST OFF shoot I gave them away as a prize. I made the person swear he was over 21 and that he had a valid firearms licence and that he would remove the prize from club property. I cant imagine what he thought he had won but the look on his face when I presented him the pail of clips was definately priceless. (looked to be a mixture of WHAT THE F**K and F** U in the same glare)

we do 10 for $5 on the store..

I'm not going to say how many I've sold, but it's been worth putting up there.

The members at the POCO range and others do not throw the clips in the gargage can they put them on a shelf free for the taking. You are right, sales are very good in markets outside Canada.

I've been sending quite a lot over to Czech and Slovakia.. what are the odds? Sell the Czechs back their own trash.

Having had to pay way too much in the past for enfiled and Swedish mauser stripper clips I have been saving our SKS stripper clips from day one.
