I hunt while wearing a M1A1 Abrams.

Even the sabot round out of the 120mm doesn't leave much meat on the deer, never mind the HE rounds.

first off, it was not a joke, I was asking seriouly if other hunter use armor(I dont but the wife asked me if it would be safer...). The reason to ask is simply because it has happen in the past and people got killed by idiot shooting at movement in the bush. Also, because hunting season with gun is only 10 days so a lot of people during a short time and some of them doesnt respect land boundary.

there is an inherent danger in this beautiful pass time, but spending money on bp vest, and wearing it in the woods (you know how comfortable that is) not to mention the smirks and rubbing you will get from other hunters, and the questions from the police/conservation officers????

Get more than ten feet from the road, and most of the idiots will neither hear you nor see you. Be aware of your surroundings -hunting, you know - and don't sneak up one one of the idiots who is planted eleven feet from the road, and you'll be good for another season.
