Yesterday at the range I found 145 .45acp, 80 9mm cases and a few pieces of .40. (I don;t even own a .45 anymore) :S Lost one 10mm case tho bummer

Our range is extremely busy this time of year.
Hunting season opens August 1.

I found 57 300 WM and 42 7mm RM on Monday night.

How come I don't ever find 257 Wby or 300 H&H brass?

My local spot has been really dry for brass this summer. Someones picking it up, or people just arent shooting/sighting in. Lots of garbage and shotgun hulls blowing around tho

A few years ago there was a police instructors/armourers course and they practised for a couple of days during the week, on a range that is not used very often. We picked up almost 2 x 20 litre pails of 40 S&W.

THAT is what I call a score....

last year the police were practicing at our range and when they left we found several pistol calibers but the jackpot was the 60 bits of 338 LM brass.

Military used our range early this year. I don't think I will ever need to buy .223 brass again...I've got 1 16 litre bucket of it!

the only thiing to watch for is 9mm stuck INSIDE stuff like 44 mag brass- sometimes grit gets in there and makes it almost impossible to separate the 2

I've managed to collect 2000 - 9mm brass at my range so far over the last year. Going to have to look into buying a 9mm soon.

I temporarily stopped picking up 9mm at my range, as I have about 10,000 already. I wish I could say that about .40 & .45 though.

Hmm I guess having a dozen 5 gallon pails of once fired 9mm, about the same in .40 and half that in .223 makes one jaded about picking up off of the range.

my range is the training range for Durham regional police... 40 s&w brass anyone 20 pound cases when ever i want

Know what ya mean - few weeks back i went to the club and a local armoured car outfit had just finished a 2 day practice. found 3 boxes labellled "free - take me" each weighed about 30-40 lbs - all once fired .40. between them and the local cops i must have 200 lbs of .40 brass.
may be willing to trade for 9mm or .45

heck at my range brass is harder to find than bullet's ,go figger

the brass seagulls at my range normally catch my brass before it hits the ground. Forget about it.
