Enfield Enforcer

Mr. Stevens informed me that he lost the data regarding 161 Enforcers due to a computer crash. Enforcers have recently been discussed in some depth at the milsurps.com Lee Enfield forum, partly due to the fact that I had purchased one and was trying to assess the authenticity of the rifle (some rifles were put together from Enforcer parts by other companies, such as Charnwood, after the factory was closed and the Enforcer program curtailed (and the remaining parts sold off), but these rifles were not issued to police forces, and may have some substandard parts).

Enforcers have a heavy target barrel and are chambered to 7.62 NATO. They also have Parker Hale PH5E/4 target sights. They are LOTS of fun to shoot. I was getting 1 inch groups at 200 yards with the scope, but did not get a chance to try the rifle out at longer distances as I had to sell it to cover some medical costs. Enforcers do not come up for sale too often, but one with the correct Pecar scope, PH5E/4 target sight and matching serial numbers might fetch $4000 to $4500 US.
