7.62x39 pistol

I'm sure that you can get a TC barrel for your TC Encore receiver either rifle or handgun, there are alot of makers of these barrels out there, not sure about the Contender frame and pistol barrel as this is fairly high intensity. Either way it would be the least expensive way to have a 7.62x39 pistol.

Hmmm... So with an 18.5" barrel and an overall length of over 26", you could probably make an unrestricted "pistol" (like those mossberg cruisers, but in a rifle caliber) out of many types of rifles?

I want an Mosin Nagant 7.62x54R in that configuration.

An AR Pistol is a handgun (according to CFC registration). There is no way to make a handgun a non-restricted firearm... ALL handguns are "Restricted" or "Prohibited"... none are "Non-Restricted".

Sorry.

Maybe you didn't read the post, but it would only be "called" a "pistol". It would comply with barrel length and overall length of unrestricted firearm as stated in the post. It would merely be a pistol grip only rifle, as stated in the previous post. Like the Mossberg cruiser, but with a rifle.

look at the mares leg , 12 inch barrel , 24 inches overall length , non restricted .

take a sks , add a folding stock . remove the rear potion , just keeping the pistol grip .

then trim back the barrel so your have either a 18.5 inch barrel , or 26 inches overall length ( which ever is greater )

legal nonrestricted firearm .

the only problem with the stuff being manufactered now , is it is based on the ar15 , which seems will always be restricted no matter what .

Put a pistol grip on a 22" + barreled T/C Contender carbine will work...

Oh yeah thats right I did try it out then I put the stock back on... :)

See this is what I'm talking about! Might get a cheap semi auto rifle in 338 federal or something in PGO with a 18.5" barrel and 26" OAL. Take that, deagle fans!
