Leica has stopped production of the CRF 1200 several months ago. Most dealers (ourselves included) are now sold out of this model. The new CRF 1600 is in production and will start arriving mid September. Phil.

About $850 depending on where the CDN $ is at the point of shipment. Phil.

A few just showed up on SnipersHide, I believe that they have a ballistic computer in them, pretty "hi tech" for a rangefinder. However you can disable the computer function.

From my very brief (less than one minute) with the sample, it appears that the inclination and declination features are accessed by a second button behind the aquire button so if you do not press it the additional info will not appear. The unit felt the same size and weight as the CRF 1200. We are taking orders for these now...first come first served. Phil.

P of P - Am I right in assuming that it has an inclinmeter in it to compensate for shooting uphill and downhill???

Oh and also will it work at short bow hunting ranges - say less than 20 yards??

That is my belief. I hate to say it but I don't know exactly the parameters of this device. Leica did not even tell us about it at the Shot Show and I didn't have time to talk to the rep at Huntfest in Edmonton. We should see these in about a month and I will report back. Phil.
