Geese nazi... WTF!!!

These folks don't know much about this, they show geese on the water and then keep showing ducks flying. I firmly believe that they have a goose problem because not enough people hunt them. Various gubmints have made it difficult for folks to hunt them, with their lead shot bans, licensing, hunting bans in certain areas, looks good on those gubmints, but people like that reporter just don't get it.
They should bump them off and feed them to the hungry in NYC.
 
I've always thought that Regina has a reasonable supply of good food walking around in Wascana Park. While I realize that goose isn't everybody's favorite, there must be some good recipes for "bulk" processing. Instead of walking around crapping all over everything, they could be "farmed" as a source of good food for hungry families.

Can't you just imagine the hullaballoo if the city even suggested something like that?:eek:f:P:
 
Goose makes great DOG food and/or treats.

My baby girl goes apes**t for duck or goose jerky.
 
Goose is very good eating. Breast 'em and slow cook in a crockpot with onions, garlic, and a bottle of beer dumped in. Make gravy with the juice and serve the breasts over a bed of wild rice and corn. Yum...those poor people in NYC are going to have some gourmet meals served up! :D

Aren't reporters supposed to be easy on the eyes? CNN should really think about replacing her with someone younger, hotter and less annoying.

Interesting we kill ducks in northern alberta by accident and they have a s**t fit, and they go and kill a million times more geese for fat people to get around easier, and its ok.
 
Something has to be done about urban goose poulations in North America. Banding studies have shown that many of these "urban" geese simply migrate from one metropolitan area to another further south come fall. They seek out metro areas as geese are familliar with the landscape for breeding and wintering. Other populations such as the one in NYC likely remain there year round.

It was said in The Winnipeg Free Press that Canada Goose population increases by 10 percent per year in that city. Britain has taken the Canada Goose off the protected list so that they may be shot 12 months of the year.
 
Geese birth control?? And this is more cost effective and humane how? Lets just feed the suckers so the population grows with immigrating geese, and watch as a entire population becomes sterile. At least with a cull they know the number of geese effected and can estimate the ability for population rebound. f:P:

And I agree, annoying anchorwoman.
