Ar-180b " let's see your rig"

Nice, What changes did you make to the gun... did some actually improve function for this application?
Man, this is what I want to do... I watch too many USA produced predator hunting videos and I always envy those guys and the AR guns they get to use.

This seems like an awesome and affordable "Canadian option", to live my dreams of predator hunting with an AR type semi-auto gun in Canada.

Midwest Industries railed handguard free floats the barrel better than the stock plastic. Two stage trigger brought the pull down from 11# to 3#. Drilled and tapped the scope mount to the reciever so i dont have to worry about jarring the spring loaded scope rail again. Missed one coyote for that reason. that was enough LOL The fixed stock just helps balance the rifle better IMO

All the mods i did shrunk my groups from 2"=2.5" to 1"-1.5" @ 100m with factory ammo. Im excited to try handloads in this thing.

Heres a picture of the finished product:

This isnt really a cheap alternative to an AR-15....i could have built an AR cheaper that would probably out shoot and out perform this gun. But taking it out predator calling is well worth the price.

I really like that A2 butt, after seeing the collapsible stocks iam not thrilled with the look of them. I just got my 180b a few weeks ago, it only had about 5 rounds through it, and i payed through the nose too.

So jamie did you just buy an A2 buttstock and buffer? or buy a kit, I know where to get the adapters already.

I just got a trijicon rx01-11 reflex. she's mounted but no time to take her out. It's look's wicked on top of my 180b and will throw some pic's on tommorow. Let's keep some pic's coming. I will give my 2 cents after I let a few rounds go. But i'm sure this optic will perform.

My rig....

here she is with Rx01-11. Sweet optic. Took out zeroed her in and it rock's.

Trijicon is definitly qaulity. Anyway let's see some more pics....

Thanks Mark

Yep, StormWerkz rail. Since I took this pic I have removed the VFG and now just use the Magpul angle grip with the rail. I just had a customer come back from Thunder Ranch Carbine course using one on his and he loved it.

Hey armedsaksk,
Any progress on the rifle?
None, need to figure out some designs for the bolt hold hoping. I'm having to build new bolt hold open components and its starting to look like it will cost money.

It will be a winter project, summer has me way to busy as I'm helping on the family farm.
