Been doing alot of reading here lately ... let's see some JAE stocks for your M14's? Oldsmobiler's rifle makes me wanna do a build with a JAE stock, LRB M25 receiver, barrel, etc ... a complete build I think is in order. LET ME SEE YOUR JAE stock pictures? :D

An old picture but not on a LRB receiver. Original SA Socom.

FDE. Old project of mine. Just want to advise you that the JAE is still heavy as compared to a USGI Fiberglass stock. But the internals are just great and the engineering behind the design makes it worth it. Thanks.

Other than the normal tweeks, nothing special besides the stock. Match barrel is planned for down the road though. One of 4 M14's I own :p

Not alot to tell. Just tightened everything up, changed out the rod guide, and smoothed the trigger. Optic is a falcon menace that I already had. I got the JAE stock used for a decent price (compared to new anyway). One day I'll finish turning the rifle into a show peice, but thats down the road.

Nice. But I have to admit to hoping to get the Sage instead. Like this.

This is just a pic I like. The business end of a M14.

Any idea what the JAE stock system is worth in Canukistan dollars?

I liked my JAE stock for the role it was designed for .....
ACCURATE HEAVY M14 long range RIFLE.
However,
A shorty M14 with a JAE is a bit of an oxymoron.

Since I make a habit of introducing ALL my M14 barrels to Mr Chop Saw and making them into SHORTIES, and since I am most interested in the M14 as a CQB/fast handling general purpose rifle, and since I prefer the ergonomics advantages of a pistol grip stock .
I sold my JAE.

I'm liking the JAE stock and LRB receiver build idea ... would like to eventually do a complete build with a heavy barrel, etc. Any pics of your SOLD JAE stock there LAZ? Cheers CGNer's,
