I was just on the CanadaAmmo website trying to pay for what I ordered with a credit card and the only 2 methods of payment are EMT and TD Bank transfer. How come I can't pay online with a credit card as I've done before when ordering from your site?

I know this isn't your fault, but I have this question...

Since when is it the CREDIT CARD COMPANY'S business what their card is used for, as long as it is used to purchase LEGAL products??

The company's have lots of opinions. it took a very long time and hassle to get set up for my tire shop. debit and credit cards. they are so worried of money laundrying or something.

Agree with you but some companies are like that. I would like to know which credit card company is involved so I can boycott them.

Guns are not the only things. Try being a cigar or pipe smoker. They don't like anything tobacco related and services like PayPoo will suspend your account if ANYTHING related to "tobacco" is attempting to be paid for.

It is not visa/MC it is the processors, moneris, elavon, first data, etc that have the issues.

Actually M/C is very anti-gun... and it's got a lot to do with insulating themselves from liability... It's part of the reason the Ebay and more so that (FRAUD ALERT) has taken the stance they have....

No they don't , I run a home business that sells Hunting Supplies and Primers and powders , archery equipment etc. online. Never gave me a 2nd look.
Unless it has changes recently and I can look forward to hassles in the future.
Tell me more. What is the business "type" as registered with your merchant provider?

Ask Marstar about the problems they had with Moneris.. I had problems with 2 or 3 merchant account providers even had firepay can my account...

CC co's do not like guns. We should be up with a new provider this week.

Pehaps guns is not the problem, I think they have something against Disco. :p

Pretty sure I registered as a Sporting Goods store NAICS code 45111. Have to look over the documentation to verify, been several years. Will try and get to that when I get home.
They went to the website and saw what I sold and didn't have a problem but then, policy may have changed recently.

Cheers!

for those that haven't dealt with Canada Ammo using a credit card before, your charges will show up on your credit card as "Disco Tech......".

gees with all the default payments on CC in the US you think they'd be happy to let you charge anything you want if you make your payments to them, and seems how they screw the dealers with a sur charge of 3-5% whenused i wonder why they would care who was buying what. as long as they get there money.
