XCR-M photo released by Robinson Arms

I have a dream. In this dream, I'm out in the middle of nowhere. It's winter. At first glance, it's a peaceful, quiet snow-scape. Then you see a slight movement out of the corner of your eye. You look, but there is nothing.

Oh, but there is. Out in the distance, I am wearing my whiteout suit and caressing my snow digital XCR-M, hidden safely among the drifts... awaiting the encroaching zombie horde.

*gurgle*

I'll be in my bunk.

ETA: Like this.. only.. you won't see me.

Put coyote/wolf in place of zombie and that is me cept I'll have my -L in 223 with 10 round LAR mags with me...

It won't be all peaceful either there will be a continuous squealing of an injured rabbit coming from my FX3 electric caller...

Why lord.. Why am I not single again..

You're in Utah doesn't matter if your married, right??:ban:

brain fart, whats up withh the .260 and .240 barrels?
why is it so important?

Drift and drop are the two big ones a .260 does less of both. Compared to my .308 .260 will have 20" (33%) less drop and 5" (25%) less drift at 500m with a 10mph cross wind. At 1000m it drops 270" (30%) less and drifts 45" (32%) less.

Then there is reduced recoil which helps with being able to follow your own swirl and call your own shots as well as making radip follow ups easier.

So it will fit in a short action, will feed from .308 mags, has mild recoil, ballistics to match 300 Win Mag, decent barrel life, costs the same as .308 to reload, and there are lots of bullets to choose from including great match and hunting bullets.

I am not seeing to many downsides which is why I was thinking of building an AR10 in .260, but if this XCR-M is going to be non restricted I could also hunt with it.

You know... People keep saying it looks FAL-ish... But if you change the stock and extend the forend, it looks a lot more G3-ish, to me.

It's true. This become a true do it all gun in .260. Just make it a 1-8" twist and we can run the heavy bullets through it.

[QUOTE =]OK. Some Comments.

No there is not and there will never be a folding charging handle. The hole purpose of the charging handle is so you can get to it quickly.
Obvisouly never trained or used a FN C1A1

The design of the XCR-M is actually more refined than the XCR-L. Better fit and finish. We incorporated all we learned from five years of making the the XCR-L into the XCR-M.
More good news a better built rifle

I don't want copycats like Fagpul and Femington to see it just yet. . Shows Real Class

The price is going to be about $2500 retail including the new stock. I guaranty it will be worth it.
I predict Swiss Arms SAPR will arrive sooner than the Mythical M rifle and here is another prediction the M rifle will be priced arround $3500.00-4000.00 when it arrives here

So are you going to offer a refined bolt to all the custmers that bought the L version

Yep, and if you change the stock, the receiver, the fore end, the sights, and slip in a silenced barrel it looks MP5 SD-ish. ;)
