First handgun I ever owned was a CZ 75 (pre-b), I always regretted selling it.
So I guess I'm back to where I started with a little extra flare and a few
accessories. The Kadet adapter kit works like a charm. It has handled every type
of .22 ammo I've fed it without a hitch. A real bonus is working in the new
trigger at .22 LR prices. I love this combo.w:h:

I just bought a 75B in black. This is my first gun. I also have the .22LR Adapter. I have not had the gun out of the house yet though...

I can't wait to get to the range for the first time. I do plan on sending 9mm down the pipe first, but it won't take long and I will be sending .22LR down it too.
 
Anthrax: Congratulations, you're going to love it. I don't mean to be condescending, but since it's your first gun, be sure to get all the packing grease out of both bores and you might find that the Kadet's slide stop works better if you clean up the insides of the .22 mags as well. Other then that, Enjoy.:)

IM_Lugger: I was considering the brushed stainless, but the beaver tail and the Tritium Night Sights sealed the deal for me.
I picked up the Kadet kit from Wolverine Supplies for $540 + Shipping and GST. It was the best deal I could find.

isn't yours brushed stainless? mine's (pic) polished stainless, has a new curved beaver tail and night sights (the ones that need to be exposed to a light to work) are yours different?

It's a Limited Edition, so sort of a coarse brushed(they call it "Decoratively Ground") and bead blasted. The sights are radioactive (I'm too old to start having kids anyhow) and have the "TRU DOT" logo on the side, so no light required. I just hope they don't go Chernobyl on me.:D
 
I don't know what it is about the CZ 75, but when I see pictures I always think how ugly they are, and I would never want to own one. But when I see them at the gun shop in person they look great!

I appreciate all the advice I can get. The last thing I want is something bad, or expensive to happen.

I figure the .22 Kadet adapter is a cost effective way to learn Trigger Control!

I recently tried out my Ruger SP101 with some full load 125 gr. and 158 gr. .357 Magnums. It sorta went like this: Ouch...Ouch...Ouch...Ouch...Ouch......
Reload.....Ouch...Ouch...Ouch...Ouch...Ouch... Note to self: Stick to the lighter loads, stupid.:) The web of my hand is still a little tender.
