well, wife gets home about 3 hours after I do on the weekdays (I go in earlier and don't have to drive as far) so on sunny days (not that many this year) you can find me in the gopher fields and I usually fire off a brick every couple of trips when they are running good. I have been asked to eliminate the gophers in a couple of areas so I now have them down to where I will sit for 20 minutes before I see one I can shoot, and most of the shots at those fields are in excess of 100yds. Now I started a new field yesterday and shot 79 gophers in about 2 hours. Probably counted for another 150rds. Gotta love bulk ammo that doesn't always go to the same POA, esp when ranges are constantly changing. Anyway, I love to shoot and so far this summer, I have gotten lots of opportunity to do so with friends and my wife. Just got permission to hunt coyotes on some pastures in the local areas as well. Good thing my wife and I worked up coyote loads in our rifles last month. Maybe next week we can get out, but the dang mosquitoes are so thick after all this constant rain.
