How much do you shoot?

I shoot 50-100rds 4-5 days a week at the dueling tree and other targets in my back yard. I love old golf balls, way fun.

I hear ya on the golf balls, and at the driving range they're only $3 a bucket!!Ha-Ha!

Probably shoot 200-500 rounds per week on average between my 10/22,Wildcat and 17HMR

I don't know what driving range you go to but try about $9.50/bucket here in lotus land:D That said I am lucky to be at the point in my game where I find or wear out way more balls than I lose and I just won't play with found balls anymore so they all go in the targets box.

well, wife gets home about 3 hours after I do on the weekdays (I go in earlier and don't have to drive as far) so on sunny days (not that many this year) you can find me in the gopher fields and I usually fire off a brick every couple of trips when they are running good. I have been asked to eliminate the gophers in a couple of areas so I now have them down to where I will sit for 20 minutes before I see one I can shoot, and most of the shots at those fields are in excess of 100yds. Now I started a new field yesterday and shot 79 gophers in about 2 hours. Probably counted for another 150rds. Gotta love bulk ammo that doesn't always go to the same POA, esp when ranges are constantly changing. Anyway, I love to shoot and so far this summer, I have gotten lots of opportunity to do so with friends and my wife. Just got permission to hunt coyotes on some pastures in the local areas as well. Good thing my wife and I worked up coyote loads in our rifles last month. Maybe next week we can get out, but the dang mosquitoes are so thick after all this constant rain.

Not much. A couple bricks will last me a year.
No range within an hour of me... yet. And I only go shooting in a pit(or similar) once or twice a year.

About once a month on average for me and usually shoot off about 200 to 250 rds in the old Lakefield 64b. Just got a Cooey model 60 recently. Need to replace the extractor on it. Then maybe I'll send more lead downrange when I get out to the club on my monthly outtings.

I'm at the point in my recreational shooting where quality shooting, takes presidence over quantity of rounds expended.
I would rather fire fewer rounds @100 or 200 yards with my 22 Mauser or BSA Martini on a challenging target, then "blast away" untold numbers at closer targets.

to each his own.......

when I go to the range I usually end up firing off 100-150 rounds per trip with my savage bolt action. Although I just got a ruger mk3 22/45 so I'm expecting that number to double or tripple once I get my ATT :D

Between my Remington model 12 and nylon 66, my son and i usually go through 3-400 rounds of .22 per range trips. I save up all the 500ml milk bottles from work to fill with water before the trip, mustard bottles, pickle jugs and such, so we always have lots to shoot at :) I tkinda sucks, since i have to budget my ammo to like 10-15 bucks a week so my wife doesn't find out exactly how much i buy. The sks has started to eat into my .22 budget :)

On average 2-3 times a month with each trip expending about 200-1000rnds depending on time, cash, etc. I always either take my 597 or 10/22 in addition to (depending on mood) sks,rem870 or cz858. Hopefully will be going this weekend to get out of the city for a bit. Its the cheapest form of therapy and costs less than a shrink....

I go through 2 cases per year, so that's 10 000 rounds.

Sounds like alot, but it just 20 outings burning through a brick.
