no,i fit them myself. in most stores,unless it's a NIB you purchased there ,fees are from 15$ to 25$ ,still,most have nothing else than a rubber hammer and a punch.....i've still never seen a shop with the proper sight remover/installer like the glock or meprolight tool.
just make sure you pull out/push in the rear sight by the right hand side of the slot. not that all guns require this ,but some 1911 can only be worked by the right hand side of the slot, so why take a chance of getting the sight stuck ......
