Where are people buying the Eley ammo in Calgary? I would like to try some in my CIL/Anschutz 310 but can't seem to locate any suppliers. If they also had Fiocchi ammo as well that would be a major bonus.

Thanks,
Mark

I purchased some at The Shooting Edge a while back. Not sure if they still carry Ely rimfire ammo.

Give them a call, or better yet, stop in and check out thier store.

Bought some Eley manufactured .22 LR (target rifle with a Remington brand) at BPS at Crossiron Mills today for $9.99 per 50 rds.

to my surprise found 3 boxes of Eley Target Ammo, marked Remmington in BassPro as cross Iron mills today. they were $2 cheaper than the Eley branded, which were sold out. 9.99 box, bought they three boxes. They can obviously get it so can order all you like buy the remmington as its simply labeled remmington on the outside of the black box and all the other markings and headstamp are Eley.

Battle River Source for Sports in Stettler is getting a few Cases in in a few weeks. I don't think it will last long as they have been getting a lot of requests for it.

I know its not alberta but I got mine from Ellwoodepps a site supporter you can most likely order is online and get it shipped. If I remember right it was $6.50 a box for Eley (don't remmeber which type).

Eley. I have to ask why? There is a man at the packing line of the production facility and he dips every round in his earbefore sticking it in the box, CBC is foul but at least its wax free. I but Green Tag for my low level target shhooting and as CCI is a US company I'd have thought it would be easier to get. If you want clean quality then go Lapua.

CCI is bought up as fast as it hit the shelves here in N.A. suppliers can't keep it in stock as its mainly a great hunting round, ELEY outdoes it in everyway as far as accuracy goes, may just be that earwax has a way of helping it slide down the tube better. poor dude with lead ear, maybe he will end up mad as a hatter like your blokes who had to shape the top hats with mercury.

just tried some PMC match and it performed worse than the green box eley sport (cheap stuff) in an anschutz 54 action..
Battle River Sports in Stettler has a Large supply of Eley Sport (green box...made in England) and CCI stingers.

I have found that my Anschutz 54 like Laupa more then Eley however it wasn't by much. Both fed and extracted very well however I'd go with Laupa and I even think it was cheaper then Eley.

I have found the eley sport is great to 50 yards but can't match the lapua at 100 yards, since most of my shooting is at 50 the ELEY is fine and quite a bit cheaper $400+ for 5K rounds

Cool! I have never ran my 54 out past 50 yards. Need a nice calm day to do that and they are few and far between here :D

Here is how a few boxes of Eley and RWS did in my Anschutz 1712 at 50 yards.
