So I have been searching around on the forum with regards to threads on the Walther P22 .22 LR pistol, but the search function doesnt seem to work for me. Anyways, just wondering if this pistol is prohib or not. I know that its standard has a 3.5" barrel, which is enough grounds for prohib right? I have also heard that you can get a version with a longer barrel, so what is the deal with this one? Anyone know? Thanks.

I have one, It has a longer barrel and then they put a fake compensater on it, Heres a pic,

If the barrel length is 4.125 inches or less it is Prohibited if it is 4.126 inches (at room temperature) it is restricted or if long enough unrestricted...........take a look at a Browning Buck Mark there are many flavors and the are not expensive. I will repost with pix if I can get it to work..................

FYI: the default setting for how far the search will be made is thread a week old or less. Useless in my opinon, but try a search with a longer time frame. There's lots on the subject
