Mossberg 500 & S&J Mag Follower

Has anyone installed an S&J magazine follower on a Mossberg 500 Persuader 8-shot? I can't figure out how to get the magazine tube off to put the follower in. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Loosen the takedown screw by turning it counterclockwise until the screw​

they are threaded into the reciever, but how tight I do not know. maybe get a friend and put some gloves on, one hold the reciever and one torque on the mag tube?

Use a strap wrench at the very top of the magazine. They are much tighter I find on the persuader than on the blued 500's

Thanks for the advice guys. Took a bit of brute force, but the mag tube came off rather easily and now have the mag follower in place. Too bad Mossberg didn't do that from the get go.
