There must be ALOT of aggravation for our vendors - typical government 'circle talk', with no real answers and no real decisions about the rulings they make. The only constant is that the rules change wimsically or can be interpreted wimsically by whoever is sitting behind the ministry's/department's desk that day.:runaway:

NRCan sent me a copy of their approval form. If 7.62x54R has been approved in the past, then it should be easy for one of you dealers out their to get it sent in again and approved once more. You should have in your possession a copy of an approval certificate from the past if you have sold this ammo in the past. If not, then why not contact your MP and find out why NRCan is being so secretive. I have already contacted mine.

max...

We need people to get into politics for our cause, like in the states, where most people, excluding states like new york and california, are reasonible

THIS is FREEDOM?

Secret government policies, secret lists, secret secret lists, unapproved secret ammo that I can buy over the counter in half the gun shops in the country?

Government in this country needs to be chopped back to its lawful 1950 level. Get THAT message across to those %$#@*& politicians and we might start getting somewhere.

This country is sliding down the tubes right now. The single regret I have is that we have wrecked it ALL. There are no more Frontiers except the big one Out There... and the government controls access to it.... for our own safety, of course.

So the choice is simple: fight here and now and maybe win a bloodless battle..... or let it keep going on and just watch the whole thing slide into mindless anarchy in another 20 years.

Canada blabs loudly about our wonderful freedoms but, when you start putting all these wonderful things down onto paper, you begin to realise that this country is so far from FREE that it hurts. By the standards of 50 years ago, we are living in a Police State today. The process is Fabianism, otherwise known as 'incrementalism'. Lenin described it in his pamphlet, "Two Steps Forward, One Step Back". Hey, it works! Canada WAS a capitalist, free country only 50 years ago. Today, it has been transformed into a semi-totalitarian Socialist quasi-police state..... and the Liberals and the NDP can't wait to push us the rest of the way off the cliff.

WE must take the Power back. We are already its target, so we're just defending ourselves. We have to win at the ballot-box. Get involved politically, scrutineer for a party at the next election, count the ballots carefully and make sure that everybody is known personally or shows proper ID.... and, if you live in a city, watch for forgeries and for 14 people using the same ID or voting at 6 different polls.

Et quis custodiat ipsos custodes? YOU!

The stuff they are selling is probably privi & the cases are boxer primed. You can sell the brass after you are done to help recoup the cost.
Indeed it is, I contacted them.

19.95 - 20 rds - non corrosive x54r ( reloadable )
15.25 - 20 rds - corrosive x54r ( non reloadable )

Sounds like a good reason to get into reloading. Find a dealer who handles Lapua and buy 200 pcs of their excellent 7.62x53 brass from Finland. It is pricey, but will last a long time if you keep loads on the mild side and neck size.

besides the fact that you linked to a non-supporting dealer, these guys are out to lunch on 98% of what they sell.

The problem is, a bricks and mortar operation has costs to cover...property taxes (!), rent, hydro, heat...etc.

Nothing is cheap nowadays. If they can't cover their costs, their doors will close.
