back packer shot guns

You definitely do NOT want a backpacker for hunting, unless you're a really good instinctive shot :) I've got one in .410 and it shoots about 4 feet high at 20 yards. Ie, the sight is useless. I even replaced th efactory round bead. Filed a machine screw so it had a bead on top, left it about 3/8 inch long. Still, not inches but feet high. I foudn that if i totally ignore the sight, i can blast pop cans and stuff within 20 yards just goign by feel after a bit of practice, but i still wouldn't advise it. See if you can find a full length .410, 28 or 20 gauge single shot instead. They're plenty light enough.

you could try your local gun store if u you dont got one theres plenty of sponsors that sell shotguns, there the little links at the top of the page. and check your hunting regs to see whats legal to use.

My DA Grizzly, you look so you can only see the top 1-2mm of the bead, and shoot that. And it hits. I only fired my friend's DA Backpacker once, but I can't recall anything funny. I think the DA min. overall length stuff is sold out at all the dealers, so EE's your best bet. A bunch of places carry the Boito .410s.

Also I'll put a good word in for the Grizzly, although it is heavier than it looks, it doesn't get in your way in the bush at all, slung across your back. Also really fun at the range.

Have the .22 rifles and are accurate.
Want the 20 gauge someday.
Epps may have them all, if you have time and patience to search their new online format.

Haha. I have that gun.

It's a Boito single shot right?

I have one, and so does 3 of my closest friends. All of the guns shoot around 3 feet high and 4 feet right at 15 yards.

Once you get the hang of it, it works though.

note, the DA backpacker was a fun little gun but the fore end would almost routniely fall off with anything heavier than 2 3/4" #7-1/2. Might have been a one off defect but i dont know
