I think im gonna do it..

I thought that everybody knows already that H&K was the first to use polymers in hanguns....you can google info about H&K VP70

Yes, that is verifiably true. HK undoubtedly had the first polumer frame gun on the market. However the way your post reads, it looks like you are claiming that the USP is the "original" polymer gun. ;)

if you get the "plastic bug" then go for the original ....buy a H&K USP in 9mm or 40SW

Tupperware doesn't belong at the range. If you are looking to spend $700, get some ammo, or just save an extra few hundred and get something cool and different, like a Desert Eagle or something.

so H&K is the ORIGINAL in plastic pistols !

I took a look at a VP70Z back in the mid eighties' and I didn't buy it because it had the worst trigger I ever tried in a handgun, it was the first but far from the best. I just looked online and it was first made in 1968, wow.

DE lmao? That's a pretty big stretch lol. I owned a cz p07 which is polymer and I liked it. My wife complains that all my handguns are too heavy to hold after 3-4 shots (5'4" 112 lbs) so maybe this will be the fix. Just placed an order with badger, kool-aid in the mail...

nothing wrong with polymers. they can actually be better tweaked to the specific use than metals, and it's relatively easy to embed reinforcement too.

if i had an itch to blow $700 on something, i'd get some Lanacane first :p
