Czech Small Arms SA V58 Sporter info????

A CGN dealer is bringing these in (Czech Small Arms - SA V58 Sporter rifles), in 5.56 and 7.62x39 with barrell options from 7.5" to 11.5" to 18.5"!

Has anyone ever heard of these rifle? Are these already out in the States?

Ive been looking forward to a shorty vz58 type rifle ever since Marstar teased us with his shipment that was turned around! And now in 5.56 also!

Please post if you have any information on these rifles!

i believe czechpoint in the US are suppose to get the shorty any time now , perhaps one of our american members can chime in with that info.

i think its pretty close , the only thing i would say is the HG should be long and front sight is on top of the gas block .

Far as I know these are made by Czech Small Arms => Czechpoint in the us. Generally good quality but there have been some issues with the receivers being out of spec and the odd issue with the new cast receivers. All in all I think they'll be a good buy for whoever grabs one up.

its not a casting. Its a milled forging. Castings, unless high pressure or investment is a bad idea in this case.
