VZ58 short barrels and gas block front sights

Is there anybody out there who is planning to sell short barrels and a way to put the front sight on the gas block? I really want to get myself a restricted VZ58 and change it to be like this:

This one I can see as still being usable,although a short sight radius. And it can take the railed handguards if a red dot is to be used.
The other stubby one has too short a sight radius to do anything in my opinion.

Yes, I want a short barrel NOW! I would buy another 2 CZ 858s, keep your Norinco M14's and AR's. CZ hands down for the win!

Barrel Dia is the same as the 7.62, its going to be much stiffer.

Can anyone confirm the length of the 2 top guns.I like the look of the top one and want to know if it is 11.5 or 7.5 .Want to know so when order it will be the one i want.
Wish we had actual pics of the ones Killercane has comming in.

A 7.5" gun won't have full length handguards or gas system.

That gun just looks wrong to me. I'm not sure if it's the flash hider or the stubby handguards.

The 11"-ish gun is much more attractive.

Well then I will buy yours and mine, if and when they ever come... wait they never come... short barreled VZ/CV's are the "soon" rifle that never comes. I will pay $10,000 for a vendor or domestic manufacturer that can deliver me a short barreled rifle by Sept 30th.... silence... wonders back to black rifle forum.

Send your rifle off to a good smith. They can turn a barrel from a blank, get the new FRT and get it back to you by then.

I'm guessing you don't want one that bad if haven't done this yet.
