A Mag for your Mags... you guys have seen this right?

Yeah, it's kinda neat... But unless your a 3 gun guy, a PMC (maybe), S.W.A.T. officer... I don't see it being helpful.

Most guy's I've known that have been in combat say that when stuff went down they were going through mag after mag... I dunno if them 3 mags would be enough.

Still :D I have to admit... I want one :p

i like the point about how you wont be reaching around different parts of your body for your next mag.

itd be nice if he mentioned how many it holds

I do like that. Trying to recover fresh mags while on the ground from your weak side always sucks! I also think that thing would shovel up a lot of dirt and debris in a hurry.

Interesting idea but it won't hold the 10+ mags that guys are carrying into combat. You'd have to have a unit that wrapped all the way round your back....

I'd be interested to see what happens when you slam your body onto the ground... will the unit barf out all the mags like the old polymer magazines used to spew cartridges?????

*insert xzibit meme here*

yo dawg, I hear you like mags, so we put your mags in a mag, so you can..... lol

As for the concept itself...I didn't think too much of it either. Just thought I would share is all.

And the person who pointed out the 15 rounds; Very true! It would be a senseless product here, seeing as we can only place 5 rounds a mag.... why all the bulk and $$ for 15rds (assuming it holds 3 mags).

"It's designed as a tactical product to supplement soldiers and SWAT team officers for immediate action drills"

So, in other words, you can still have a whole bunch of mags in pouches but this unit is for the actual building entry and such, where you're not likely to even go through more than one mag...definitely not through more than three...

As for the bulk, it is not that much bulkier than having three mags in pouches, in the same location, IMO.

I like it and it definitely would do very well, the job that it is designed to do...

I see the benefit - and this might be beneficial to s.w.a.t / police situations...

but combat would require more than 3 mags - and certainly would gather the debris in such situations..

cops yes, army no.
