Is there and .223 dies you dont need to use lube with?
You'll want to lube any bottleneck cartridges. I use the spray lube when reloading 223. Just give a large container a couple squirts, shake it around for around 25 seconds, and that's all you need. I'm still on my first bottle after 3 years and probably 5k+ rounds.
What lube are you using? I have about 1000 .223 rem that I picked up at the range that need to be FLS. I have a can of that Hornady One Shot stuff. Is that what you are using?
Smoother than steel, you can use less lube, and the life span is indefinite.alright, I was just wondering, Whats the point of carbide bottle necked dies if you still have to lube? Seems silly.
Another vote for Redding wax. Looks like a little can of lip balm. You need very little, I have used it for thousands of .223 and hundreds of .270, and I am only on my third can.
