Hey all,

I'm thinking about getting a new stock for my Remington 5R in .308. A friend of mine put his 700 into an AICS stock and it shoots like a dream...unfortunately I don't have the funds to be able to do the same myself.

I've been looking around on the internet for something a bit cheaper and am torn between a McMillan A-5 or an HS Precision Pro Series stock. The McMillan is a bit more pricey than the HS Precision but it's something I would be willing to pay for.

I haven't been able to find any decent reviews on either of these stocks so I was wondering if anyone has or had either one and could give me some feedback.

Thanks in advance

Tactical Robertson

Great thanks all!

Go figure, the place is in Nepean....I was just there for the NSCC shoots....bah!

Jesus, they are local to me... Now I just wonder if they have showroom I could look at....

**edit** dumb question, do Robertson Composites Tactical stocks come with a detachable magazine? if not, what make/model magazine do you need to buy to fit? **edit**

Don't the 5R Remington's already have a HS Precision Pro Series stock on them?

LOL you are correct...I completely forgot about that :p I was looking for something a little more tactical looking and a bit easier on the shoulder (Yes, after a while of shooting, it gets to be a little tender...don't laugh, this the first rifle i've had with a calibre larger than .223 )

I'm having a muzzle brake put on it to remedy that a little bit and i'm thinking with a new stock, it'll feel like a .223 :D
