Here's two more purchases for this month.

IH M1 Garand

The second was an early RIA M1903 bought earlier in the month.

Fit and finish of the stock is incredible

As I'm going to be reloading (already scavenging as much brass as I can), does any know off hand where I can get .313 moulds for casting?

Nononono...that swirl is distorting the serial # there buds!

Sad thing is, I'm away from home more oft than not...free time is such a luxury that I willingly spend with the G/F...

...and that is a good thing...!

But I DO see myself @ the Genesee range w/ ~ 50 - 100 rounds of hand loads trying to find the magic combination in the very near future!!

The SA in the box represents Finnish Ownership.

Sako is a S in a gear shaped wheel

Tikka is a T in a triangle pointed down

SA = Suomi Armeji (sp?) = Finnish Army. The Civil Guard, on the other hand, stamped SkY on their rifles.

VKT as stated = Valmet. The Sako mark looks rather different than the SA. It's a gear wheel looking "thingy".
