Although its probably a long term project, and since it is a .22 you can go crazy with it whenever you want without having to worry about ammo.

Phenomenal job :D:D

I like this version as well .. more streamlined. Are you sitting down? Altogether including price of rifle and all the external and internal parts plus taxes and shipping .... $1725.00. Which makes this rifle a keeper and never getting sold seeing that I invested a lot into getting it the way I wanted it.

 its a beauty but

Out with the old and in with the new.
My wife calls this 10/22 my "barbie doll" gun, 'cause I'm always changing it's accessories :D

The 16" Dlask barrel and his reworked levang compensator are a great combo.
Without effort, it's shooting 50 yard, 10 shot groups that a loonie would cover.
It also isn't picky with ammo, like my 12" barrel was. Or nearly as loud.

Up to date, got rid of the replica aimpoint, the dot kept disappearing after every other shot so I picked up a replica Eotech 552 and surprisingly has held up well so far, super clear reticle, making elevation and windage adjustments is a little hoaky but overall seems to hold. I have my backup sights sighted as well so if I notice any difference on the Eotech's zero I can make adjustments accordingly.

I like it! If it was mine I would keep it old school and use the open sights.

i thought i would too, but the rear sight is so flimsy, hard to keep at "0" .
i'm trying to find an alternative rear sight... and for now this red dot will have to do... :)

This Mag makes all the difference in the world. Looks great.
If someone mass produces these, they would sell like hotcakes.
Have you shot with it...? Reliable...?
Thanks

Its just glued on to the factory mag, so its as reliable as it is

Still a work in progress, starting to mod the mags next week probably and then... We'll see.

WOW wait a second, aren't authentic EOtech's illegal in Canada? If not, I think I will be rolling in that $600 price tag for one. Is it worth it? You like it? I have a replica and am still in the sight in process.

Eotechs are available all over the place. I have an XPS3 on my 597VTR right now (until I can grab something cheaper ;))

Seriously? Wow, I swear I read a thread that they and Aimpoint's were not available and actually illegal to own in Canada. Must have been an old thread, or totally misinformed.. I am thinking about one now hehehe.

They are just somewhat harder to export from the US than other items... This one (512) cost me 443$ including Priority shipping. Bought a 552 back in 2005 from the US also without any trouble.

Edit: Yes, they are totally worth it in my opinion. 200$ less than an Aimpoint and they do just as good of a job.
