the gap on the bottom rail is for a magpul RVG which i am still waiting on, a new magpul MOE pistol grip is on order as well, magpul mag pullers (?), and a flashlight holder for the left side of the rails

Why crayon?
 
YOu just draw it on there, like you are tracing the words? I would have thought it would just smudge on and not and look as vibrant as it does.

ya you just fill in the stamping with crayon. Go over it quite heavily and rub the excess off with gun oil.. the oil also seems to seal the crayon into the stamp.. have had no problems.
 
I did the crayon thing with my SR22, the white text on the side is black from the factory - works great and it holds up pretty well, even if it starts to wear off you can just take a couple minutes and draw over it again

Ok...I know it's just a glue on fake, but what kind of magazine is that? Airsoft or something? As someone else stated...it makes all the difference with the SR22. Probably the one grip I have with this gun is that the skinny little 10/22 mags make it look like a toy.

Mine BTW....nothing special just yet.

got my risers and jp trigger spring friday........... light spring takes away the gritty feeling but the creep is still there adrenaline fixes that up real quick!

I don't own those, its pictures I took on the web. IMO, its the sickest looking SR-22. I plan on getting one someday and I want to customize it similar to those.

I really enjoyed shooing the S&W M&P 15-22 recently, but it seems to me that the new 10 round magazine restriction on the 15-22 definitely lowers its desirability. Between that and the fact that it's restricted....

Too bad. I was seriously thinking of buying it.
 
Ok I just picked up my SR22 and crappy little red dot, but what I really want is to get a set of those flip-up AR sights.
First I want to get the Dlask full-length top rail, but have no credit card.
Does anyone know if there's a shop here in the lower mainland of BC that sells them?
