Ordered myself a Sig today

As an aside, I just picked up a Sig STL-900 Laser/Light for mine. Wholesale Sports sells them for $360 plus the tax.....got mine, new in box out of the US on ebay for $137.50 USD, and didn't even get nicked for duty.

Nice light! and would look just right under your Sig.

I just ordered the Siglite for mine from Questar for $199.99 plus tax. Now with the Tru-Glo Fiber Optic/Tritium combo on top I'm good to go.

So I ordered myself a new Sig today. Now I will be joining the ranks of CGNs Sig owners. I opted for the new Tactical Operations p226R with the srt trigger, night sights, truglo front sight extended beavertail, ergo grip, basically fully loaded model, supposed to come with 4 mags (if it were'nt for our laws they'd be super-capacity) hard case. Very excited about this. I've got to get out sometime soon to EOHC to do the range safety test and get a membership there, that too I am looking forward to. Hope to see some of you guys out at the range in a month or so when it all comes together for me!!!
:D:D:D:D

i did this, ordered a sig some 15yrs ago. now i have 16 sig pistols in my collection :D.

Good to know. I have not seen the rosewood grips in person but they look nice in photos. I have only used the sig p225. Which I never see for sale or even on there website but it is military issue as a fellow I know carries it and I have used his.

shooting edge has the 225 with an extended barrel to make it legal, if you want one of those as well ;)

Well I'm definitely gonna have to check that out. I assume they have the blindingly bright white light. I see some have a strobing effect, is that really benificial or would it just drive you nuts?

The strobe dosen't drive the pointer nuts, it drives the pointee nutz and is very blinding.

160 lumens of flashing light in the eyes is rather bothersome..

I was looking at the insight x300, I always see it on spike personal defense tv show ads. It looks good to. I will have to search prices though

I assume you're referring to the Surefire X300?
BTW,Nice choice of pistol. I would recommend you look at the Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR-2 though. They are almost as good as surefires but almost half the price. I actually use my Streamlight tac lights a lot more than my X300.

I have a TLR-2s that has the strobe function. It is quite nice

That sounds good to me. Who sells the Streamlight TLR-2. Also the range near me is only open dawn to dusk I believe so is there somewhere that anyone knows of where you can work on target shooting at night?

I'm up to 14 SIG's now and still adding. Bought two SIG laser\lights from the States for less then $150 each and they work very nice. The light is very bright.

911 supply in Calgary has them. $399 list

I just picked a TLR1 from them last week and am very impressed. Love the strobe.

I think next I want to get a M4, probably just the norc to start with as its affordable for me and then I want a Sig 1911, then probably a S&W revolver in 45 colt or something along those lines.
