Anyone got an extra bear?? Ontario

I'd love to hunt Black Bear with bow, but I've never had the opportunity...don't live near them and don't have friends into it.
Lots of time on my hands right now, if anyone has a successful bait sight/area in Ontario with extra bear hanging out, I'd might be interested.

How far do you want to travel? Setting up & maintaining a bear bait is hard work with some expense involved. Don't be surprised if you don't get a lot of responses to your request. I would invite you, but I already have a full complement of hunters lined up for this season.

I'd travel 5 or 6 hours north of Toronto, I'm in Southern Ontario. I understand that it is a lot of work, just throwing it out there.

Does anyone know of a "bear guide" that would have a few bait sites going with plenty of bear in the area....looking for a hunter like myself who is not looking for an arm and a leg.

The Ontario Monster Bucks forum has a Bear forum where you can get hooked up with hunter/outfitters for bear. I have been a member for a couple of years & they are a great bunch of guys! http://z4.invisionfree.com/The_Hunting_Forum/ Check it out.

Hahaha, "low key" meaning someone who's done all the work and knows the perfect place for you to sit.

I don't think you realize the effort and work that goes into maintaining a bear bait stand. If you did, you wouldn't be asking to tag along. It takes gaul, I'll give you that,
