New HK (NOT GSG) .22 MP5/416 etc

now if we can only get that ruling on the RCMP classifying variants these could potentially be non-restricted (other than the pistol) wonder if any dealers are working on bringing these in?

when pigs fly.... I think we should just hope for a Conservative majority to push back the named prohibs back to restricted (at minimum) as that's the easier way.

They don't even need to use the "look" as evidence... It's named MP5 .22lr kinda of obvious its a variant
 
I had the priveledge of firing a 416 while I was in the UK.... I jizzed my pants... so to own a .22 of it would be almost as good and would make me wake up with a smile on my face every morning. That being said, if the GSG got banned for being "scary" I am sure thosee will too :(
 
If the M & P 15 is restricted, I can surely guarantee when these are finally allowed into Canada that I wont be buying one of these because I do not like being limited to where I can shoot them. The best stuff is restricted which also makes it the worst, yes I am a party pooper.

will we be able to get any of those in canada? and are they full metal, or polymer like that M&P .22?

EDIT: Nevermind on the metal receiver question. I read the site page more thoroughly

True. The MP5 variants may be prohibited, but the 416 should be restricted like the M&P no?

If that is the case, then the 416 should be restricted no? at least we will be able to get one variant from them.

pardon my ignorance, but what is the henderson case? I have seen it mentioned a few times, but i have never heard of it myself. any place where i can read up on it?
 
No way in hell will the RCMP put this threw, just like the Colt, till we get rid of the all this registry S*@T we will never see these guns in guys who don't have prohib Statis!! God I want one at least!! Dale in T-Bay

why would we not see the 416?
 
I think we all need to realize that the RCMP will prohibit all it can and restrict everything else that they can. I feel, that they feel the long gun registry has the good chance of disapearing.
If it is prohibited, none to worry about on our soil , if its is restricted well they know who has what.
