What's the most comfortable and natural grip you've found on a semi automatic?

I've read a lot about the Beretta 92fs being too large for it's calibre, but I love the grip! It fits like a glove and contrary to most people saying that the grip is only for people with big hands, I woud say my hands are on the small side.

Sorry to leave all you wheel shooters out, but I only have experience with a bird head grip on a Colt Lightning. Mind you, I think that's my favouite grip of all!!!

Yep, there is a reason that the 1911 is the standard against which all other pistols are compared to for how they feel and point. And while there are many modern guns that feel good in the hand and point well (fairly instinctively), none have yet dethroned the venerable 1911 as the standard that others, even 100 years after it's initial release, still try to equal.
 
Even though I don't own one (yet..), for me, the most comfortable grip I've held is the hogue grips on a single stack 1911 (with the finger cuts).

Most comfortable gun I own to hold (for me) is a tie between my stock glock 17 and my taurus model 90 with stock wood grips.
 
I love my 1911A1, but it still feels a little slim. I haven't held a Para Double Stack yet, but I think think it would be ideal for me. Haven't tried a straight Main Spring Housing on my 1911 yet either. I like the way the the curved one cradles my hand and it feels good. Seeing as I already find it a little slim, I'd hate to sacrifice more Real Estate Maybe if I get those Pachmayr grips with the finger grooves I've been looking at, my 1911 will become my new favourite.
 
I have medium sized hands/slim fingers. I got lucky, my first pistol was (is) a CZ SP-01 Shadow and it's a PERFECT fit for me, and nice and tacky with the rubber grips. I've now shot another 20 different pistols over the last few years and none has been as comfortable or pointed as naturally, though I shot a Sig226 for the first time yesterday and that was really nice.
 
single stack 1911

Single stack 1911 flat mainspring housing .016 shim stock grips with skateboard tape, high ride grip safety. If I couldn't have that then the new sig ergo grips are very nice.
