1187 Norinco Choke?

I've done some light searching on the 1887 Norinco lever action.

Is this guy cylinder bore?

I'm looking at this gun as a fun plinker, but also something for turkey/grouse. If it's cylinder bore, I'd doubt I'd buy it.

also read it has a thin barrel thickeness, so threading the end for chokes would be impractical, anyone know?

As long as the chinese steel is decent I'd imaging you could use briley thin wall tubes in it. Thats how I did my custom wingmaster.....

So to do that, you'd have to have the inside of the barrel threaded to accept those chokes?

I guess that's an option, but the more I think of it, I don't want to spend any more money on a novelty knock off, if it's cylinder bore, then it's not good for me.... I'll keep saving for my future xtremaX2 haha
