Shoot your Lee Enfield, Mauser, Moisan Nagant, Garand Sept 18

The army has changed our range availability. Match is a week earlier than planned.

Use any kind of rifle, or any number of rifles, if you like. We shoot 4 matches at 100, 200 and 300 yards. I will shoot my Mosin Nagant at 100, Lee Enfield at 200 and a Garand at 300 - just to give them a day at the range.

100 is shot standing. 200 and 300 is prone, and you can rest the rifle on a bag if you like.

We shoot a stationary target first. This is preceded by some sighting shots to zero the rifle. After the deliberate match we shoot a snap (3 second exposures) a rapid fire (10 in 45 seconds) and at a moving target (walking pace). Lots of fun.

Entry is $20 for ORA members, and $30 for non-members.

I don't think there is a set amount but you are there for almost the entire day.

Nothing worse than to run out of rounds for your favourite milsurp. You might have to pull double duty in the "butts".

4 shoots at each distance. Deliberate, snap, rapid and mover. That's 12 shoots. 10 shots each, plus sighters and practice shots.
