Kel-Tec RFB

3-4 weeks was for the US distributor, which went t**s up. We have Bersa's bought and paid for, from Argentina, ahead of complicated licensing, official translations, documents returned due to not being notarized by the correct person at DFAIT, in contrast to the spanish language declaration of who was supposed to notarize them, dealing with a govt in Spanish, with an office open 3 hours per day, etc. I only mention any of this becuase you bring it up. The 'disappeared' you mention I call laying low until guns are in Canada and we're not making promises we can't keep.

I never wish any other company anything other than success.

We are derailing this thread... All I want to say is regardless of circumstances those of us who were waiting deserved some sort of info. I wish all Canadian dealers good luck, they need it as much as the shooters. First CGNer to post a photo of an RFB this side of the border gets a hero cookie!

Sorry for derailing this thread further, but do you expect the prices to fall close to your previous estimates?

One thing at a time, and dealing with beauracracies it usually isn't even near half speed.

Good news on the Bersas!
Something you will stock all the time, or just the odd order?

Keep chipping on KelTec.

I was in Wanstalls yesterday (picking up my shiny new 1911 Blackwater) and was seeing if they knew anything I didn't (as they were aware of Vault and what they're saying about the RFB). Nothing new yet from them...but they did say if it happens they'll take as many as they can get (to pass onto us). I let the Craig's know I'll take one sight unseen...:ninja:

(and thanked them for yet again draining my wallet of its resources).

Thanks for looking into it :)

I called Vault Distribution a couple of days ago and spoke to Steve for about 45 minutes, very nice guy to talk to, Things are going very well with getting retailer setup in each Province, because this incoming Kel Tec shipment will be more than just one or two products, they are just waiting on DOS paperwork to come through for Kel Tec. While Steve didn't tell me on the exact number of RFB in the shipment, he hinted that they are more than just handful, so people will have a chance to actually fondle one at the local stores.

It is also worth mentioning that Vault will be bring a new line of optics from China that is made in the same facilities as some European and North American name brands are made.

Steve at Vault have been lurking CGN for awhile now and he has a very good idea what CGN community would like to see and he is working hard at it, so I wish him all the best with this new venture.

Anyone happen to have any new information? (sorry to get you guys excited by bringing this back to the forefront)

umm i have contacted vault (the canadian distributor) he was kicked off of this forum by the way for having multiple accounts... he tells me he has some canadian firearms dealers on a list to get them, and i have asked him some other questions but he hasnt got back to me....

My god those P-32s look ###y.
Damn C-68.
The biggest thing I want the most are the factory length snubbie autos, or even some old school snubbie wheel guns.

I don't see why this gun would be more than an FS2000 or Tavor? On Gunbroker they're selling (at BIN, not auction prices) for $1600.. which is less than the asking price for an FS2000? I'd assume this gun would be around $3000.
