norinco m4 and quad rail compatibility...

looking to find out which models of quad rail fit the norinco m4.

im looking at
-ncstar
-troy
-Daniel defense
-utg
etc

what sizes specifically fit the norinco m4? Do the free floating rails work?

I believe UTG does - I have one on order as my Magpul only went on after a lot of dremeling that sorta screwed up :-(

All will fit...the end cap is smaller than normal so some fitting may be required for drop in type rails..

If you're keeping the front sight you need a "Carbine length rail". The free float rails work just fine, but you may have to remove some stuff to fit them - for mine I had to cut off the Delta ring assembly (no big deal 5 mins with a dremel).

great, just found the yankee hill diamond free float at fabsports, think im going for that

you should know that some float rails (the "tube" type) require removing the front sight gas block assembly, which is apparently a bit of a b*tch with the new Norcs.

I have the NCStar rail on mine. went on no problems. same installation method as the UTG which also went on flawlessly. the only thing i didnt like with the NCStar rail is that it is a little wider that the UTG. so if you can find a UTG rail i'd get that one (it also comes with rail covers: or at least the one that i bought did. GO PPCLI kit shop! lol)
