Huge Trijicon Shippment In!

I thought you guys couldn't order in anything with chevron reticles, because "we [DS Tactical] cannot order any products with chevron reticles as they are restricted to law enforcement and military only." At least thats what I was told after inquiring about them a couple months back.

Whats up with that?

We cannot get any of the 4x with chevron. We found out we could get the 3.5x35 with no issues. The 3.5 is alot larger than the 4x.

Do you know what the reasoning behind the rule is? Cause I still don't understand what difference a reticle makes to a sight... except maybe preference.

You can get any recticle you want as long as that model of scope is not used by the US military. They are non-exportable. State Dept. rules.

Edit: I was just thinking about it, and that still doesn't add up. The US Mil uses the TA31 model, yet that is still available from DS? Just not in the Chevron reticle... IIRC, they had a TA31RMR up for sale the other day, and there is still a TA31 and TA31A up for sale now w/ doughnut and triangle reticles respectively.

Bottom line, all these rules confuse the hell out of me...
