So...
I ordered my first rifle from Wholesale Sports about 2 weeks ago; its a non-restricted Remington Model Five .22 LR. Its been a little more than 2 weeks since I placed the order and Wholesale Sports has still not sent me a confirmation, that the rifle has been shipped yet. My question(s) is, is there a waiting day period before they will ship or am I suppose to call the CFO and confirm a transfer and pre-register the rifle to myself?
I'm just confused, because transfering of firearms was not explained in my PAL/RPAL class.

There are several possible reasons why your shipping is delayed. Call WSS and ask them. Have your transaction or order number ready before you call.

Thanks for the responses.

I had a lengthy e-mail exchange with a customer service representative, who informed me that my rifle was out of stock and that I'm going to have to wait probably an additional week. So its going to be more than 3 weeks for it to arrive.

I have no idea if its been registered to me yet, supposedly the registry slip is in the mail?

All this really doesn't make me want to deal with WSS again...

How do you expect a firearm that they do not have to be registered to you???

If you do not like this process, only buy in person because it will mostly be the same everywhere.

Sorry.

i think he means that they did not inform him that it was out of stock, assuming he bought it when the site said it was. which i would be annoyed as well.

They do have the rifle and I was informed the registry slip should be in the mail. I'm just pissed off that it was out of stock and wasn't informed, until 2 weeks later...

Mail order is great for people with poor memory. It's like finding a $100 bill when the package, that you forgot was coming, arrives...
