Albertan hunting in BC

As an Albertan, to hunt in B.C. you have two choices. Hire a guide/outfitter, or as stated above find a B.C. resident that is willing to apply for a permit to accompany, and then take you out hunting with him. It is not something you can do on the spur of the moment, as the application process does take about a month. You can find more information on it here. http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/pasb/applications/process/accompany_hunt.html

Non residents are not eligible for any Limited Entry hunts and may even be denied some species in particular areas in General Open Season, depending on populations.

All the above applies if you are looking to hunt big game.

For small game, upland birds and waterfowl you only need to buy a licence.

It's about the same as when I as BC Resident wish to hunt in Alberta.I have to have an Alberta Resident as my "Hunter Host".You have to do the same with a BC Resident, who has the Permit to Accompany for you,as mentioned above. Mur
