Maybe boring but it is getting to see some great country! I'd pack mine too if it would behave and shoot straight. For punishment it doesn't get its pic posted.


Nolan, thanks for the tidbits. As I suspected, the right equipment makes all the difference. I've tried the flood light too. Guess I should get out the big Pentax or Nikon and see if it helps.

As long as you don't mind snow in late May... and June... and July... Seriously!:) Still, no place I'd rather be, and we've been a few other.:D

It's not boring to me... it's reliable and as a result sees a lot more nice country than the rest of my rifles.;)

I here ya on the misbehaving rifles though. Our mutual friend in the hills and I were just discussing the frustrations of 'problem rifles' the other day...

BTW, your pics are just fine and dandy...
 
I've had this old fwt 30-06 for 20 years, and it was over 30 years old when I got it. The stock is new this year.
