As titled LeBaron in Mississauga now has crates of the surplus7.62x39 ammo in stock. Price with tax comes to $246.34 or $0.205 per round.

I was surprised to find that when I opened the crate each stripper clip of 10 rounds is individually packaged in a sealed fairly thick plastic sleeve - perfect for storage in our southern Ontario climate.

Just wanted to let everyone on here know as they're a fairly hot commodity and tend to sell out extremely quickly.

Now I just need to wait until they receive their shipment of Russian SKS's and I'll be good!:D

If you checked with some of our dealers here on CGN you would have seen that most of them sell the exact same crates for $179.99-189.99 plus tax. I am all stocked up right now so I don't need anymore. SFRC has 21 crates left right now for $179.99. You could have saved yourself at least $50.

The stripper clips are nice....like a crate full of individual loaded magazines. :)

you must missed the post that marstar is bringing in 20 gazillions of them.

Yes, even without the gazillions coming in it has been a long time since you couldn't get a crate. I'd say they have been in stock consistantly for at least a couple of years straight. After Marstar gets theirs in we should be good for about 10 years. :D

Has anyone factored in shipping, unless you live next door to John at Marstar you can probably tack on $30 to $45 shiiping depending on your location.

why would you buy anything from this A$$clowns?

Even if they give it away it`s still not a reason to set one foot in this f$%*?ng Dump!

You are wayyyyyy better off to buy from our sponsors, like target sports $209.00 with tax for a 1120 case.
Or tradex $225.00 shipped, plus tax for a case of 1200 to my door in Toronto.

Because they are 10 minutes away, it saves me on shipping charges, and it's not always a bad time going there, my last trip there, they had everything I needed, and they covered the tax, how can you beat that. Most other places are at least an hour away, so for me, it's a good place.

Hell even Ellwood Epps has it's times of messing up, but I still go there, or order from them....

Good for for you...

Seriously I am very happy for you, that you find what you need and that you have a good time there.

But believe me, your happiness will not last.

Myself I live less than 10 minutes from this hole, still no reason to give them any business. You will find out yourself eventually, as so many of us did.

I have had my share of bad times with them as well, don't get me wrong

rude staff, items not in stock, higher prices, and so on, but then again I have had this at most places of business, none are perfect

I guess it all comes down to how much a person will tolerate or not.

I'm waiting for the Marstar gadzillions of them to drive the price back down.

Price isn't going down.. x39 is a staple. There's already a warehouse full in country. But you can almost certainly get a crate for under $200 just about anywhere. So it's a matter of $20 here or there if you're lucky.

The only way to get a real good deal is to buy by the pallet.

Well, for those that chimed in after my first post about other retailers selling the bulk ammo - perhaps this is a marketing wake-up call.

I've been floating around this forum for months learning about about the few firearms I inherited when my father passed away. I haven't seen any other local retailers advertise the bulk ammo, and those that do market themselves on this forum (Marstar in particular) are located on the other side of the country.

Shipping for a 40lb + crate can't be cheap! After taxes and shipping I'm not sure there would be much difference.

Regardless. Suppliers, if you're out there, TAKE NOTICE and MARKET yourself within southern Ontario!

One final note on LeBaron Mississauga - There are some good people working out there. I've been in there several times just to pop in and check stuff out. They are always helpful! Maybe not always in the best mood, but atleast they're polite and willing to help.

Target Sports at 404 and Stouffville Rd and Al Simons in Hamilton are on either side of you. Even if you drive a Hummer to get to either one you will still save some money, plus get to look at a lot of really cool stuff. ;)
