Para Ordance 16-40 broken safety lock

I got broken " ambidextrous slide lock safety left" .NO idea how come . I didn't
drop the gun .I'm a second owner ,so I don't have on original receipt .Please ,
where I can fix it ? Help me friends .

looks like another MIM parts Para uses, don't wait or count on Para to cover this under there "life-time" warranty cause there ain't no warranty for your Para here in Canada.
just go to Brownell's site order your parts and get a smith to fix.
i had been a Para Ord. defender but since they left Canada for the US and left us in the lerch for parts and warranty service, not to mention if you call or e-mail them as soon as you mention your from Canada or have a Canadian made Para they just hang up.
 
Had a similar problem with my SSP. I called George Wedge at the factory and he arranged for me to get replacement. I don't know if George is still there or if he moved to the NC shop.

I had a problem with the ejector also but got a Nowlin replacement locally.

My handgun is made in Canada - I'm not sure factory in US will deal with that

As was mine, Para moved it`s factory to the US after the owner died. They still have an operation in Scarborough which should be able to help you.

Call the factory and ask if you can speak to George, he takes care of customer relations.
