For those of you that might not know, last week was the 2010 IPSC European Handgun Championship in Serbia, Europe. This match is the second biggest match after the World Shoot. It's a Level 4 with over 20 stages that takes place once every two years in a different country every time.
This year, there was somewhere near 1200 shooters that participated to this event. Now, you may be asking where I'm going with this. Well, one of our very well known shooter here in Canada, Mike B., our 7 times National Standard Champion, made the trip to Serbia to shoot against all the best IPSC shooters in the World. There was 244 shooters in the Standard division this year. Mike B. came in 10th overall at 95.45% of the match winner, Juan Carlos Jaime Diaz from Spain
! Unbelievable performance from Mike beating guys like Henning Wallgren, Oliver Dam, Roman Podlesak and many more. He truly shot like the Champ he is and did a more than amazing job representing Canada at this match. I wanted to take a minute to make sure that everyone knew what he did at this match because this is truly an amazing performance and he deserves that we all take a minute to congratulate him. Mike, well done!
