Whats the word out there? Good ? Bad? Anyone have any warranty work done? What is the warranty in canada?

Ive got a couple Monachs...had them for years, used them regularly in all kinds of weather. Never had any problems with them!

Shipped a broken one to the states a couple of years ago. They sent me a brand new one, no charge.

For the money, a very good buy optically and mechanically.

Right now, I am leaning towards Sightrons as their glass is amazing.

New items for 2010 are really exciting too.

There are very few scopes actually restricted from export.

Nikon and Sightron products are good to go...

I bought a Monarch 4-16 x 50mm for my .25-06 and have been nothing but happy. Nice thing about 16x is that I don't need a spotting scope to read my paper at 100 yds. Got mine on eBay out of the States for about $100 cheaper than anywhere in Canada - duty and tax paid. Hoping to use it on a pronghorn next fall....

Nikon Monarchs are available in Canada (surprisingly from us) but some of the tactical models now called the Monarch X have not been brought in by Nikon Canada. After meeting at the Shot Show they advise the Monarch X's will be coming in this year but as of yet they do not appear on any Canadian price list. Phil.

Have several Nikon scopes and they are great for the price.
Just wish the Monarch X would come in a 20x or higher magnification.

I have three Nikon scopes, 2 on my 22s 1 monarch Gold 1.5 x 6 on my 257 Roberts. I prefer my Nikon scopes to my Leupold scope.

Ive got a Sightron in customs right now and I just read the sticky saying you need papers for importation and Im gettin alittle nervous lol.
