GP100 recall

It's affecting a very limited batch, from what I have read. Ruger stated that they were contacting individual owners not a blanket recall for the heat treating issue.
 
After Remington recalled their 597 in 17 mag, I noticed a few dealers advertising them at reduced prices. I'm not jumping to conclusions, but it did make me wonder about the ethics of knowingly selling a potentially dangerous products.
 
Hmm...Just picked one up from these forums. Hopefully mine isn't affected. I don't know what the heat treatment issue involves, but after 200 rounds of 38 specials and .357 rounds, my cylinder has a slight tint to it, but certainly nothing that would be considered out of the norm.
