i got into possession of a browning pump .22lr. made in belgium.
owner said his father passed to him. it was new when he got it. says its about 80 years old, and it is in absolute mint original condition. collectable?
anyone can tell me what something like that can be worth? i am debating on selling it...
any info would be appreciated.
thank you

Collectable, you bet. Trombone is what they are known as. If it is in as great a condition as you say and as old as you say, it could be worth $1000.00, now weather or not anyone in Canada will give you that much for it is a different story. Some one in the USA may give you double that as Trombones are very rare in the USA. FS

interesting. thank you....i waited till almost 2 am for any info...cause i was debating whether i should buy it cause i told the guy to hold it for me....but i suppose i will take it.
is there any way of telling how old it is besides asking the owner?

Get hold of the fellow in charge of the Browning archives and he will help you out like he did for the ones I have. I was told by him " they were only sold in Canada " now true or not I don't know for sure but they are one of the best pump .22's ever built.
