Looking to use this out of conversion kit for my tanfoglio. I found that dyna point were more reliable in regards to ignition, and the lazer winchester had twice as many ftf. The dynapoint was lower velocity, and had some hiccups for extraction....whenever the Lazer did go off,..it always extracted well and fed well.

for high velocity CCI it is pretty much any CCI . I prefer mini mags, but stingers, velocitors, segmented, they all work great and are very accurate out of most 22's.

As far as I'm concerned "everyday use" .22 ammo falls in this order;

1)CCI Velocitor

2)CCI Mini-Mag

3)Winchester SuperX (40grn RN High Velocity -X22LRSS1)

4)Winchester SuperX (40grn HP - X22LRPP)

5)Winchester Dynapoints

6)CCI Stingers

I always see Federal Gameshok available, and had good results with that in my 10/22. Bought some of the Winchester X,...and managed to find 2 boxes of CCI Stingers! WOW,..expensive...$8.99 a box of 50! (this was at a local hunting store/gas station in Moncton...".Lyons") the prices there are insane. $18.99 for 20rds of winchester 55gr 223 (white box)

Federal American Eagle are GREAT gopher getters, in many guns they perform almost as well as anything CCI makes. Its what we run in our CZ 452's in the gopher patch, and performs flawlessly for less than 1/2 the price of the CCI's

Holy gouging! That's crazy expensive. That's double the price they are at CT here.
