Hi,

CFC will not, repeat NOT, check the serial number for you, provide any personal information on a seller or buyer, check to verify whether the gun is registered, etc.

I know this as I've tried several times to obtain this type of info from the CFC and CFO offices on suspected scammers.

FirearmsCanada.com is, unfortunately, a haven for scammers and it's up to buyers to find out for themselves whether they're dealing with one. I've "outed" several scammers on this site through hard work and friends who want to rid the site of these low-life scumbags. Remember:

Ya right next to the 1200$ Wilson CQB, 1500$ SA Super match, I made the mistake once of putting a WTB add for a Colt Python and had a guy from England trying to sell me one:D

CFC has no interest whatsoever in apprehending real criminals. Just paper criminals. But hey, the law, is the law, is the law. - dan
