2010 Yukon trip ** PICS WARNING!! **

Well done, Paul!

Guess I won't be able to cajole Ted into being my accompanying hunter next year, will have to make do with Phil instead. ;)

And I might even have to break down and live in a TENT (shudder) for the hunt. I did enough of that camping stuff with the Army, so now that I don't have to live under canvas I generally don't! :p

Marvellous, Paul. Thanks for sharing. Good on you for taking your daughter. Ted is a very fine guy as well. I'm sure you had a wonderful time all round. The pics are gorgeous. Regards, Eagleye.

On a side note, I did get to use a few new items of kit on this trip and would like to comment on those.

Muck Boots (Edgewater) .. Very comfortable, warm, lightweight, good around the boats. Great purchase. I may buy another pair, but in winter weight.

Bark River (Canadian Special) .. Very sharp from factory, held a good edge through dressing two lrg caribou, comfortable, but if the user is used to a a Russel belt knife the handle will take some getting used to.

Cabelas 1hp grinder .. This machine worked awesome. It took care of all the grinding I had with no problems at all. I was a professional meat cutter for over 20yrs and have used several large grinders over the years and was sceptical about this purchase. I was NOT disappointed with this at all, but only wished I had bought one years ago.

Great pics and an awesome trip. I'm sure yourself and Alex will have great memories from this.

BTW, does Alex have a single, older sister, say around mid thirties? :p
