2010 Yukon trip ** PICS WARNING!! **

WOW, love the pic tutorial!!.Beautiful bulls!! Fine Job there Super!!...almost makes me feel I was there. Simply Awesome !..It don't get ANY better than hunting with your kids !..Kudos to you!

I'm Jealous!

I used to live up there. Hunted fanatically there too. That was some rugged country and now that I am in Alberta, the hunting has lost it's lustre somewhat. :(

Where about was your fly-in? I know that for plains 'boo we had to go north where the mountains and bush thinned out a bit.

Woodlands were up on the 'ol Canol or the MacMillian way. Come to think about it...were a bit south too. Just curious as to where you folks flew into.

We've been friends with the Wagners (Mr. & Mrs. Why Not?) for over 15yrs. Still dropped coin as I paid Alex's way as well. It was well worth it and still a very good deal compared to what you would pay through an outfitter.

.

Very neat, that's an amazing hunt, and an amazing animal, my head is in a constant rocking nod of admiration. And as a general rule... .375 bore is king.

Didn't realize this was the Why Not's, neato!

Great pictures SC and thanks for sharing. Looks like you had quite a trip. I've hunted Mule Deer on draw with my Daughter in AB and like you, I really enjoyed those shared hunts.

I've recently purchased a couple of fine Husqvarna rifles from your 'guide' and had the pleasure of actually meeting on one of his last visits to 'the Island'. Seems like quite a guy and I look forward to the next meet. Again, congrats on your hunt.

Awesome pictures and story, glad everyone had a great time.
SC, I think its time for you to give serious consideration to moving out to this neck of the woods. :)

A good time was had by all, especially Paul's daughter!

He really did well on the shot, and more than carried his load around camp.

Will post more later. Have to hit the sack.

Ted

2 really great caribou...

But the real question is:

Who the heck would have thought SuperCub would have such a fabulous BABE for a daughter? :runaway:

And she looks STYLISH, too????

Congrats hunters and anglers!;)

On a side note the Wagners sure are nice folks.
You're right about that. They really do know how to make you feel right at home. We had a lot of fun, lot of laughs, saw some awesome country and learned more that one trick or two along the way. They are both in their element out in the bush and really know how to do this type of hunting right.
